Thera Markon first appeared in 2014 for Bounty Hunter Players during the Story for Shadow of Revan on Rishi. Thera is the daughter of Crysta, the mentor to the Bounty Hunter on Dromund Kaas during the beginning of the Great Hunt. Players have the option of avenging Thera’s mother on Rishi when they find out Crysta has been killed.

Inquisitor Players on Korriban can meet Overseer Markan, who was added as a one-time sidequest NPC for Inquisitor Story players as Markan acts as the tutorial questgiver for Class Trainers. This quest added for the release of SWTOR in 2011 was Overseer Markan’s only appearance in SWTOR.

In Game Update 7.4: Chains in the Dark, Both Markan and Thera Markon reappear after on the Port Nowhere station for Imperial Players during the introduction to the Kessan’s Landing Story quest.
Any Bounty Hunter’s that have completed the Rishi OR Inquisitor’s that have completed the Class Trainers quest on Korriban prior to starting Kessan’s Landing will be given unique, one-time cutscenes to reconnect with their connected characters.

Sith Warriors will also be given Overseer Markan, however as they never met the character will instead be given a cutscene where Markan remarks Overseer Tremel’s negative opinions on a younger Sith Warrior.

Likewise for Bounty Hunters, the Agent will also be able to meet Thera Markan even though they have no relation!
Jedi Players will meet Jedi Master Cedral Gend, Troopers and Smugglers meet Tema Folaris.
