SWTOR 7.4 Graphical Update Comparisons

Here’s a look at all the new Graphical Overhaul updates coming to SWTOR in 7.4!
Several of these were found by myself and members of Discord. New graphical improvements have been spotted on NPCs, Tython and Korriban in the Vanilla Game of SWTOR.

New Exploration Mission Icon

The first noticible change to 7.4 on the PTS is the addition of the new segmented Quest Triangle. The old Exploration Mission Triangle used to have a small star next to it.

New Tython Waterfall Animation

New higher resolution animated Waterfalls have been spotted on Tython near the Fleshraider Gnarls. The water is no longer grey-white and instead flows along a path with splashing whitewater.

Imperial Uniform Update

Imperial NPCs wearing Officer or Agent armor seem to have been updated as well. The shoulder patches, rank badges and pleated uniforms, belts and utility pouches have all been updated.\

New Korriban Sands

Korriban is the most radically overhauled planet in 7.4, from the sands on the ground, the cartoonish orange has been replaced by a more realistic sandy gravel surface.

New Temple Walls and Rocks

Rock walls and Temple Walls and Obelisks have had texture changes as well, there are now more defined cracks along the surface and the old cartoony graphics have been overlayed with higher contrast.

New Plants and Grass

New foliage has been spotted on Korriban as well, the old chunky thorns and bright yellow plants have been replaced by more neutral plants that blend into the new soil very easily.
