What are Companion Mounts
There are a small number of Mounts in Star Wars the Old Republic that allow you to ride with your Companions, Pets or both at the same time.
This guide will cover each and every Companion and Pet Mount in SWTOR, how they are obtained, and which Companions or Pets are blocked.
To have your Companion to ride with you on a Mount, make sure you click the circular Companion Button on your screen while you are mounted to spawn your Companion in a passenger seat.
To summon a Pet to ride with you, open your Abilities Window (P) after Mounting, and then choose the Pets Catergory from the drop down tab. You can then spawn any ‘Ground’ type Pet to ride on your Mount with you. ‘Flying’ type pets such as Probe Droids or Birds do not work on Companion or Pet Mounts.
Companion Mounts
There are five unique mounts in Star Wars the Old Republic that can seat Companions. Only the Blue Shift and Event Horizon Mounts are currently available to players.
Meirm Cicada
The Meirm Cicada Mount can seat a humanoid Companion as well as a ground type Pet. This Mount can be unlocked in Collections and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
This Mount is currently unobtainable and was only available to Active Subscribers between November 29th 2024 and January 4th 2025.
The Meirm Cicada Mount is inspired by the Speeder Bike and Sidecar seen in Star Wars Skeleton Crew tv series on Disney+.
Pressing the Mount Flourish Key (default: Control + Z) honks the horn.
Allowed Companions
These companions can be used on the Meirm Cicada Mount:
Human/Human Aliens:
All humanoid companions from all class stories and expansions (Corso Riggs, Lana Beniko, Senya, Gault etc).
Aliens:
Khem Val (Vanilla story only), Ak’ghal Usar, Bowdarr, Broonmark, Guss Tuno, Qyzen Fess, Skadge, Xalek, Yuun, Jakarro, Gamorrean Guard.
Star Fortresses:
Deadeye Leyta, K’krohl, Veeroa Denz.
Rewards / Season Companions:
Darth Hexid, Fen Zeil, Master Ranos, Nico Okarr, PH4-LNX, Amity, Paxton Rall, Shae Vizla.
Droids and Cartel Market:
Human-shaped style droids (HK-51, HK-55, Z00M, Scorpio etc).
D-R3D, K1-Z3N, QO-77, P3-KP, C8-S3C.
Blocked Companions
These companions can not be used on the Meirm Cicada Mount:
Aliens:
Khem Val (KOTET Version), Treek, Blizz, Phrojo Nuray, Quick Vrik.
Star Fortresses:
Choza Rabaat, Hemdil Tre, Rokuss.
Rewards / Season Companions:
Altuur Zok Adon.
Droids and Cartel Market:
Bessi, T7-01, C2-N2, 2V-R8, M1-4X, H2-WF.

GDW Weaponcarrier
The GDW Weaponcarrier Mount can seat a humanoid Companion as well as a ground type Pet. This Mount can be unlocked in Collections and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
This Mount is currently unobtainable and was only available to Active Subscribers between the 9th of September 2025 and the 14th of October 2025.
The GDW Weaponcarrier Mount is inspired by the Imperial Hover Turrets seen in the ANDOR and Mandalorian tv series on Disney+.
Pressing the Mount Flourish Key (default: Control + Z) fires the cannon infront of the Mount.
Allowed Companions
These companions can be used on the GDW Weaponcarrier Mount:
Human/Human Aliens:
All humanoid companions from all class stories and expansions (Corso Riggs, Lana Beniko, Senya, Gault etc).
Aliens:
Khem Val (Vanilla story only), Ak’ghal Usar, Broonmark, Guss Tuno, Qyzen Fess, Skadge, Xalek, Yuun, Gamorrean Guard, Bowdarr and Jakarro, Phrojo Nuray, Quick Vrik, Treek, Blizz.
Star Fortresses:
Deadeye Leyta, K’krohl, Veeroa Denz, Hemdil Tre, Rokuss.
Rewards / Season Companions:
Altuur Zok Adon, Darth Hexid, Fen Zeil, Master Ranos, Nico Okarr, PH4-LNX, Amity, Paxton Rall, Shae Vizla.

GDU MG Droid Carrier
The GDU MG Droid Carrier can seat a humanoid Companion as well as a ground type Pet. This Mount can be unlocked in Collections and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
This Mount is currently unobtainable and was only available to those that purchased the Master the Fight: Mobile Edition Bundle from available stores.
Pressing the Mount Flourish Key (default: Control + Z) spawns a miniprobe that follows you as you travel.

These companions can be used on the GDU MG Droid Carrier Mount:
Human/Human Aliens:
All humanoid companions from all class stories and expansions (Corso Riggs, Lana Beniko, Senya, Gault etc).
Aliens:
Khem Val, Ak’ghal Usar, Broonmark, Guss Tuno, Qyzen Fess, Skadge, Xalek, Yuun, Gamorrean Guard, Bowdarr and Jakarro, Phrojo Nuray, Quick Vrik, Treek, Blizz.
Star Fortresses:
Deadeye Leyta, K’krohl, Veeroa Denz, Hemdil Tre, Rokuss.
Rewards / Season Companions:

The Blue Shift Mount can seat a humanoid Companion. This Mount can be unlocked in Collections and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
This Mount is currently available to Subscribers that reached Level 50 during Galactic Season 10: Secrets of the Syndicate or purchased the Mount from the Seasons Vendor on Fleet for 6 Galactic Season Tokens.
Allowed Companions
These companions can be used on the Blue Shift Mount:
Human/Human Aliens:
All humanoid companions from all class stories and expansions (Corso Riggs, Lana Beniko, Senya, Gault etc).
Aliens:
Khem Val, Ak’ghal Usar, Broonmark, Guss Tuno, Qyzen Fess, Skadge, Xalek, Yuun, Gamorrean Guard, Bowdarr and Jakarro, Phrojo Nuray, Quick Vrik, Treek, Blizz.

Event Horizon
The Event Horizon Mount can seat a humanoid Companion. This Mount can be unlocked in Collections and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
This Mount is currently available to Subscribers that reached Level 100 during Galactic Season 10: Secrets of the Syndicate or purchased the Mount from the Seasons Vendor on Fleet for 6 Galactic Season Tokens.

These companions can be used on the Event Horizon Mount:
Human/Human Aliens:
All humanoid companions from all class stories and expansions (Corso Riggs, Lana Beniko, Senya, Gault etc).

Pet Mounts
There are fourteen pet friendly Mounts in Star Wars the Old Republic that can seat ‘ground’ type Pets. Every Pet Mount can be obtained for Free in-game except the Storm I Mount which was only available for a limited time.
Storm I
The Storm I Mount can seat a single ground type Pet. This Mount can be unlocked in Collections and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
This Mount is currently unobtainable and was only available to those that purchased the Master the Fight: Storm I Edition Bundle between the 29th of April and June 17th 2025.
Pressing the Mount Flourish Key (default: Control + Z) fires the cannon infront of the Mount.
Desert Sands and Frozen Peaks Lifters
The Desert Sands Lifter and Frozen Peaks Lifters can seat a single ground type Pet. These Mounts can be unlocked from the Dynamic Encounters tab of your Achievements Window for free and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
To obtain the Desert Sands Lifter you need to complete 125 Dynamic Encounters on Tatooine as well as every Republic and Imperial Dynamic Encounter on Tatooine.
To obtain the Frozen Peaks Lifter you need to complete 125 Dynamic Encounters on Hoth as well as every Republic and Imperial Dynamic Encounter on Hoth.
The Arctic Thranta flying-type Pet also works on these mounts.
Leisure Cruiser Mounts
The Leisure Cruiser Mounts can seat a single ground type Pet. These Mounts can be unlocked from the Dynamic Encounters tab of your Achievements Window for free and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
Kaas Leisure Cruiser – Encounter Mastery Dromund Kaas – Complete every single Dynamic Encounter on Dromund Kaas, Complete 75 total Dynamic Encounters on Dromund Kaas.
Coruscant Leisure Cruiser – Encounter Mastery Coruscant – Complete every single Dynamic Encounter on Coruscant, Complete 75 total Dynamic Encounters on Coruscant.
Ilum Leisure Cruiser – Encounter Mastery Ilum – Complete every single Dynamic Encounter on Ilum, Complete 75 total Dynamic Encounters on Ilum.
The Arctic Thranta flying-type Pet also works on these mounts.
Zylthan Mounts
The Zylthan Mounts can seat a single ground type Pet. These Mounts can be unlocked from the Dynamic Encounters tab of your Achievements Window for free and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
Zylthan Highland Brig – Encounter Mastery Korriban – Complete every single Dynamic Encounter on Korriban, Complete 30 total Dynamic Encounters on Korriban.
Zylthan Bog Cutter- Encounter Mastery Hutta – Complete every single Dynamic Encounter on Hutta, Complete 30 total Dynamic Encounters on Hutta.
Zylthan Forest Schooner – Encounter Mastery Tython – Complete every single Dynamic Encounter on Tython, Complete 30 total Dynamic Encounters on Tython.
Zylthan Foothill Clipper – Encounter Mastery Ord Mantell – Complete every single Dynamic Encounter on Ord Mantell, Complete 30 total Dynamic Encounters on Ord Mantell.
The Arctic Thranta flying-type Pet also works on these mounts.
Dantooine Expedition Carrier
The Dantooine Expedition Carrier Mount can seat a single ground type Pet. This Mount can be unlocked from the Dynamic Encounters tab of your Achievements Window for free and cannot be mailed, traded or sold to other players.
Dantooine Expedition Carrier – Encounter Mastery: Dantooine – Complete every Dynamic Encounter for all 3 Biomes, The Wreckage on Dantooine story quests and Defeat the Orbital Core.
The Arctic Thranta flying-type Pet also works on these mounts.
GDW Repair Platform Mounts
The GDW Repair Platform Mounts can seat a single ground type Pet. These Mounts can be purchased from Secret Vendors across the Dantooine Crash Site for 5,000,000 credits each and require Dantooine GSI Hero Reputation Rank.
The GDW-D0 Repair Platform is obtained from any active Doctor Vendor in the Sporefall Biome.
The GDW-L0 Repair Platform is obtained from any active Doctor Vendor in the Glacial Biome.
The GDW-H0 Repair Platform is obtained from any active Doctor Vendor in the Geothermal Biome.
The Arctic Thranta flying-type Pet also works on these mounts.
