Server Transfers will be available for the Shae Vizla Server in SWTOR on the 12th of March 2024

The full details of server transfers for the Shae Vizla server were announced today on a forum post by Broadsword’s Keith Kanneg. Server Transfers will be going live on Shae Vizla when game update 7.4.1 releases on the 12th of March.

What are Server Transfers

A Server Transfer allows you to move a character from one Server Location to another, in order to start over and play with new people, while still keeping your characters story, items, achievements and unlocks.

Free Transfers to Shae Vizla

For the first 30 days after transfers open, there will be 16 free transfers available to Subscribers who meet the following criteria: 

• Are a current Subscriber
• Have been a Subscriber since 2nd of January 2024.

For the first 90 days after transfers open, all Subscribers will receive a 50% discount (500 CC off) on transfers to the Shae Vizla server. 

• This discount will be applied for Subscribers who use up their free transfers. 

What does this mean?

This means that on the day that 7.4.1 releases later this year, all subscribers who have been subscribed since the 2nd of January 2024 will be given 16 Free Transfers to Shae Vizla as long as they are still subscribed when 7.4.1 releases.

After 7.4.1 releases, Server Transfers for Subscribers that have used all 16 free transfers moving to Shae Vizla will cost 500 Cartel Coins instead of 1000 for the next 90 days.

F2P Players, and Subscribers that were not continuously subscribed will have to pay a full 1000 Cartel Coins per Transfer. After 90 days all players will have to pay 1000 Cartel Coins per transfer.

Shae Vizla Transfer Rules

There are several requirements in order to transfer a character to Shae Vizla: 

• Characters will be required to have 15 million or less credits.
• If you try to transfer a character that has more than that amount, you will see an error message. 
• The character level minimum is 20. 
  

These rules will still apply to all Shae Vizla server transfers even after the 90 day promotion period ends, unlike all other servers where unlimited credits and character level Transfers are allowed.

How to Transfer Server

To transfer between any server, you have to log in with your account to swtor.com and find the Transfer Server button under your account settings.

You select the Starting Server and the Character you wish to transfer, then afterwards you select the Destination Server you wish to move them to.
The game will then prompt payment of 1000 Cartel Coins and if the transfer is successful, the next time you log in your character will be on the new server.

Things to Know about Server Transfers:

• All Mail and GTN listings are permanently DELETED, take all Mail and GTN listings down before transferring servers!
• You will lose your Guild, even as an owner. Guilds do not transfer.
• You will lose your Unlocked Strongholds and have to rebuy or reactivate them on a new server.
• Only your Inventory and Personal Cargo Hold transfer with you.
• Your Legacy Currencies, Crafting Storage Materials and Legacy Bank does not come with you.
• All Outfits will be saved upon Transfer!
