Broadsword’s SWTOR Update 7.6.1 Livestream begins at 1pm CT / 7pm UTC on the 26th of February 2025. The Livestream aims to cover updates to the Character Modernization News, a new PTS build and perhaps Galactic Season 8 or more!

Livestream
The SWTOR livestream for Game Update 7.6.1 will start at 1pm CT / 7pm UTC on the 26th of February 2025 and most likely run for 40 mins – 1 hour. There were some initial hiccups in getting the stream started.
Twitch Drop Reward
SWTOR is running a new Twitch Drop to unlock an exclusive Poster Decoration for your stronghold until March 12, watch 1 hour of swtor livestreams!
Another twitch drop mount will be available later when 7.6.1 releases in March

Im game Update 7.6 SWTOR went through several major Graphics Overhauls to both vanilla game planets AND our player characters.

New Skin Updates
Twi’leks, Purebloods, Cathar will be getting their own art modernisation updates soon. It will be playable on the PTS during 7.6.1 releases in ‘March’.

Galactic Season 8 – Rising Powers
The developers discussed Galactic Season 8 Rising Powers to a small capacity during the stream. Galactic Season 8 appears to be thematically set around ANDOR and involves playing (or replaying) Uprisings as the Seasons main Objective.
Uprisings will now be available to all players above level 10 instead of Subscribers of level 70 and above.

Galactic Season Rewards
There are many new rewards in the Galactic Season 8.
Cartel Market and Bessi Venture
4 New Bessi Venture inspired Companion Customizations are coming to SWTOR in Lane’s Lab on Ruhnuk.
You must assist the Curator by continuing Bessi Training Modules to trade them in for the skins. The devs have also added Dynamic Encounter only Training Modules for Bessi.
Coruscant and Dromund Kaas Utility Decoration Packs
New Cartel Market Armor Set: Peerless Explorer Enviro-Suit.
Older Cartel Market Items are being Retired**** Many weapons are being retired after 2 weeks from the 26th of February, they may return later but no TBA.
New Master the Fight Bunddle:
New Legacy Perks
Speeder Piloting Rank 6 will now be available in 7.6.1 to be purchased from the legacy window for subscribers.
Dynamic Encounter Achievements
New achievements related to existing Hoth and Tatooine dynamic encounters but these are ‘bonus’ achievements related to side objectives such as ‘take no damage during this combat dynamic encounter’.
No new Hidden Chain invasion achievements.
7.6 and 7.7 Game Story
As the main game story was delayed in 7.6 for undisclosed reasons (most likely the currently ongoing SAG-AFTRA Voice Actors strike), there is a little they can talk about 7.6.1 and 7.7.
A PTS for 7.7 will release quickly after 7.6.1 and Master Mode (nightmare XR-53). As well as more Dynamic Encounter locations and continuing the development of the main game story.
Public Test Server Online
The developers posted before the livestream that a new PTS (test server) would be going online when Game Update 7.6.1 releases in March for players to preview future game content/updates.
