How to Play Uprisings

Uprisings are smaller, ‘arcade’ style Flashpoints (dungeons) in SWTOR that can be played by anyone level 10 or above. Unlike Flashpoints, Uprisings ONLY contain enemies and boss encounters, as they have no story cutscenes or dialogue.
Most Uprisings take between 10-15 minutes to complete and can be difficult to play Solo. Duo or Group play is recommended for Story and Veteran difficulty while Master Mode Difficulty requires a Group of 4 level 80 players.

There are Two different ways to play Uprisings in SWTOR:
1. You can queue Uprisings in the Group Tab of the Activities Window (Ctrl + G default).
2. You can manually enter an Uprising solo or with a group by finding the Hologram Table next to the Heroic Computer in the Combat section of Fleet, choosing an Uprising and then clicking the Uprising Transport button in your mission log (pictured above).
Uprisings are a feature of Galactic Season 8 – Rising Powers in SWTOR, to see all information regarding Uprisings in GS8, read this guide:

Complete Guide to Galactic Season 8 Rising Powers, all rewards and achievements.
Continue to the guide.
Difficulties
Uprisings are available to all players above level 10 in THREE difficulties on the Fleet as well as through Groupfinder:
Story – Available through Groupfinder to all players level 10+.
Despite being named [Story] difficulty, Story Uprisings can be beaten in a Group of 2 players and 1 Healing Companion.
Veteran – Available to all players level 70+. The only major difference between [Story] and [Veteran] Uprisings is the amount of Health and Damage that each boss has.
Veteran Uprisings can be beaten in a Group of 2 players and 2 Healing Companions however 4 players is recommended.
Master – Should only be attempted by highly geared Level 80 players and requires a full group (1 Tank, 2 DPS, 1 Healer). All enemies in [Master] difficulty Uprisings are far more dangerous then their Veteran difficulty counterparts.
Power Ups
Players can find bright blue crates inside every single Uprising. Each of these Blue Crates contain 1 of 3 random Power Ups that players can use to help them defeat enemies faster.

There are 3 random Power-Ups that can be given to you when you open a Crate inside an Uprising, Power Ups spawn on your Temporary Hotbar and have 2 uses before they run out.
Rocket – The Rocket should be used on enemies with a Gold Star difficulty or enemies in a close group.
Grenade – The Grenade knocks enemies over and sets them on fire for a few seconds. It should be used on large groups of enemies.
Stimpack – The stimpack temporarily boosts ONE of your classes abilities with no penalty or cooldown. I suggest saving this Boost to use on Boss battles only.
Crimson Fang Uprising

When you first spawn inside the Uprising: Crimson Fang, you will spawn directly infront of the first boss!
You cannot use Stealth to Skip enemies inside Uprisings!
Jor ‘Oneshot’ Mesok

Jor ‘Oneshot’ Mesok is the first boss in the Crimson Fang Uprising. He is relatively easy to defeat, however is boss fight is broken down into two different phases.
For phase one, you must survive against waves of enemies as Jor attacks players using yellow arrows. Once a Mercenary Cannoneer with an picture of pink scissors appears above their head, defeat them and run to the glowing blue computer to hit Jor Mesok.

Once You have defeated two Mercenary Cannoneers and used two glowing computers, Jor will jump down and now the real boss fight starts!
Mechanics:
- Avoid yellow arrows by hiding behind objects in the room
- Avoid all orange circles.
- Avoid Jor’s terminate and sniper shots by hiding behind large objects in the room.
Master Mode Tactics:
- Master Only: Hide behind objects to avoid the yellow arrows, they hurt more in Master Mode!
- There are no Kolto stations in Master Mode.
Takkan Russco

Takkan Russco is the second boss in the Trench Runner Uprising. He is a fairly basic boss however he spawns powerful adds that will target specific team members.
Make sure to avoid as many of the Yellow, Purple and Orange circles on the floor as you can.

Mechanics:
- Stand out of all yellow, purple and orange circles on the floor.
- Defeat all adds that spawn as quickly as possible.
Master Mode Tactics:
- Master Only: Make sure your group stays spread apart to minimise AOE damage from circles.
- There are no Kolto Stations in Master Mode.
Security Droids KT-55 and PR-98

This boss fight is functionally identical to the Prototype Droids A-14 and B-16 in the False Emperor flashpoint.
You can only damage the Security Droid that does not have an orange shield.

Halfway through the boss fight, adds will spawn, be careful as the Malfunctioning Droids will explode in a red circle when low on HP.
Mechanics:
- Attack the unshielded Boss.
- Avoid damage from Malfunctioning Droid adds.
- No Kolto Stations in Master Mode.
Laser Hallway

You can hug either the Left side or the Right side of the corridor to avoid a majority of the lasers on the floor without taking damage.
In story difficulty you can just run right through the entire thing, it doesnt matter.
Bonus: Swift and Silent – Defend Whisper

Once you enter the main cantina of Port Nowhere, you will come across a bar fight. You have two options:
- Continue the Uprising and defeat the final boss.
- Defend Alem ‘Whisper’ Reesus and keep them alive until you defeat the final boss.
Keeping Whisper alive until after you defeat the final boss will reward you with an achievement and a decoration of Alem Whisper Reesus.
Tips:
- This is incredibly easy to complete in Story difficulty using a Heal companion.
- In Veteran or Master Mode, your groups healer will need to dedicate healing to Whisper so that the final boss does not kill him in a few hits.
Elarea Aldraste

Elarea Aldraste is the Final Boss in the Crimson Fang Uprising. Elarea does a lot of purple AOE and Red conal attacks, so be careful.
There are Three Kolto Stations you can use to heal your Group in Story and Veteran Mode.

Mechanics:
- Elarea will fire powerful attacks in a red cone towards whichever player has aggro, be careful if you are keeping Whisper alive otherwise her shots will kill him.
- During the middle of the fight, Elarea will begin freezing group members in carbonite to attack a single player.
- In the final 35% HP, she will begin spawning purple circles on the floor.
Master Mode Tactics:
- Master Only: Healer needs to be careful and heal everyone before Elarea freezes people in carbonite!
- There are no Kolto Stations in Master Mode!
Once you have defeated Elarea Aldraste, loot the Reward Drop Rocket before you leave the Uprising!
