A look at all of the new Chiss character customizations that have been added to Star Wars the Old Republic in game update 7.7 and 7.7.1!

New Character Customization

Initially announced during the SWTOR 7.7 Developer Livestream earlier in May 2025, there was a surprise announcement that The Old Republic would be adding over 400+ new Skin Color options to a variety of species to customize our characters.

During Game Update 7.7.1 in August of 2025, the developers suddenly announced several hundred more Hair Color options for several species would also be given to all players for free to customize our characters.

Alongside the new Hair and Montral color options, the developers also added several dozen new skin tone colors for Mirialans and Imperial Zabraks.

Chiss

In game update 7.7, Chiss were updated with 19 new skin tone customizations.
In game update 7.7.1, Chiss recieved 72 new hair color customizations.

Chiss Skin Colors

Old Character Customizations

There are 8 default and 2 extra Cartel Market skin customizations for Chiss, for a total of 10 existing Chiss Character Customizations.

New Character Customizations

There are 19 New Chiss skin customizations. The first 10 (8 vanilla + 2 cartel unlocks) Customizations are the same as the old customizations.
Despite the color order being the same, All of the 10 old customizations have been visually updated.

Chiss Hair Colors

Old Chiss Hair Color Customizations

There are 7 default and 8 extra Cartel Market skin customizations for Chiss, for a total of 15 existing Chiss Character Customizations.

New Chiss Hair Color Customizations

There are 56 New Chiss skin customizations. The first 15 Customizations are the same as the old customizations.
