Complete Peace is a Lie Quest Guide for Republic and Imperial Players in SWTOR.

Overview

Peace is a Lie is the non-combat Story Choice in the Dark Tidings Story Quest in Galactic Season 5.
I suggest this Choice for Players below level 25 or for those looking to complete the Story Quest quickly as the [Heroic Enemies] Choice is very long.

Dark Tidings Quest

Skip this part if you are jumping right into Peace is a Lie.
Once you have claimed the Dark Tidings Season Reward into your character’s inventory, right click the inventory item to start the Quest. You will be asked to find the Source of the Transmission on the Fleet.

On both the Republic and Imperial Fleet, the source of the Transmission is coming from the NPC Droid 3V-1L in the Top-Right of the Fleet.
At the end of the conversation you will be asked whether you want to disrupt Cantina Patrons or kill tough enemies, choose any Cutscene choice that says [Disrupt Cantina Patrons].

Peace is a Lie – Republic

Choosing the [Disrupt cantina patrons] option or [Lie: Disrupt cantina patrons] option will start the Peace is a Lie Story Mission.

I suggest the [Cantina] Choice for Players below level 25 or for those looking to complete the Story Quest quickly as the [Kill Enemies] Choice takes a lot of time.

Once the Conversation finishes, the quest will update and tell you to go to the Hangar. Keep walking away from 3V-1L until you recieve a Holocall from the Republic SIS.

It does not matter which Convesation Choices you make on the Holocall as it does not change the Quest. Choose whatever options you want.

Once you have finished the Holocall Cutscene, go to the Old Market Sector on Coruscant and enter the Cantina.

Once you enter the hallway to the Cantina, click the Blue Button on the wall to start the Cantina Minigame.

Once you become a Mouse Droid, you have to complete the following tasks to finish the Quest:
Zap Dancing Patrons x3
Startle Relaxing Patrons x5
Commit Arson x3

To Zap Dancing Patrons, click on a dancing Cantina NPC and use the 1st Ability on your Hotbar.
To Startle Relaxing Patrons, stand near a Relaxing Patron NPC and use the 2nd Ability on your Hotbar.
To Commit Arson, click on any of the Trash Cans inside the Cantina.

Once you have completed all 3 Tasks, go back to 3V-1L on the Fleet to turn in the Story Quest!

Congratulations, you have completed the Dark Tidings Story Quest and the Peace is a Lie Story Path as a Republic Character!

Peace is a Lie – Empire

Choosing the [Disrupt cantina patrons] option or [Lie: Disrupt cantina patrons] option will start the Peace is a Lie Story Mission.

I suggest the [Cantina] Choice for Players below level 25 or for those looking to complete the Story Quest quickly as the [Kill Enemies] Choice takes a lot of time.

Once the Conversation finishes, the quest will update and tell you to go to the Hangar. Keep walking away from 3V-1L until you recieve a Holocall from Imperial Intelligence.

It does not matter which Convesation Choices you make on the Holocall as it does not change the Quest. Choose whatever options you want.

Once you have finished the Holocall Cutscene, go to the Nexus Cantina on Dromund Kaas and enter the Cantina from the Street to update the Quest.

Once you enter the hallway to the Cantina, click the Blue Button on the wall to start the Cantina Minigame.
