Complete Power Through Strength Story Guide for Republic and Imperial Players in SWTOR.

Overview

Power Through Strength is the Combat Story Choice in the Dark Tidings Story Quest in Galactic Season 5.
I suggest playing the Peace is a Lie path for Players below level 25 or for those looking to complete the Story Quest quickly as the Power Through Strength Choice is very long.

Dark Tidings Quest

Skip this part if you are jumping right into Power Through Strength.
Once you have claimed the Dark Tidings Season Reward into your character’s inventory, right click the inventory item to start the Quest. You will be asked to find the Source of the Transmission on the Fleet.

On both the Republic and Imperial Fleet, the source of the Transmission is coming from the NPC Droid 3V-1L in the Top-Right of the Fleet.
Talk to 3V-1L to begin the Quest, it does not matter which chat options you pick at the end you will be asked to choose between the [Cantina] Choice or the [Kill Enemies] Choice.

Power Through Strength – Republic

Choosing the [Defeat Heroic Enemies] option will continue the Dark Tidings Story on the Mission: Power Through Strength.

I suggest the [Cantina] Choice for Players below level 25 or for those looking to complete the Story Quest quickly as the [Defeat Heroic Enemies] Choice takes a lot of time.

Once the Conversation finishes, the quest will update and tell you to go to the Hangar. Keep walking away from 3V-1L until you recieve a Holocall from the Republic SIS.

It does not matter which Convesation Choices you make on the Holocall as it does not change the Quest. Choose whatever options you want.

Once you have finished the Holocall Cutscene, go to the Black Sun Territory on Coruscant and enter the room to the North.

Once you enter the North room in the Black Sun Territory, you need to kill 5 Enemies with either a Gold or Silver icon next to their name.

Once you have killed 5 Black Sun enemies, you will be told to go to Taris and kill 5 Rakghouls.

Once you arrive at Taris, travel to Brejik’s Run Outpost and head West in the Tularan Marsh until you find a Heroic area with Rakghouls.

Once you arrive you will need to defeat 5 Rakghoul or Nekghoul enemies with a Gold or Silver icon next to their name.

Once you have killed 5 enemies, you will be told to go to Nar Shaddaa and kill 5 Mandalorians.

Once you arrive at Nar Shaddaa, travel to the Lower Industrial Sector and enter the Elevator to the far Middle-South as the Clan Sharratt members are inside.

Once you arrive you will need to defeat 5 Clan Sharratt enemies with a Gold or Silver icon next to their name. I suggest killing only the Silver enemies as the Gold ones have too much health and take too long to kill.

I suggest killing only the Silver enemies as the Gold Mandalorians take too long to kill.

Once you have killed 5 Mandalorians, go back to 3V-1L on the Fleet to turn in the Story Quest!

Congratulations, you have completed the Dark Tidings Story Quest and the Power Through Strength Path as a Republic Character!

Power Through Strength – Empire

Choosing the [Defeat Heroic Enemies] option will continue the Dark Tidings Story on the Mission: Power Through Strength.

I suggest the [Cantina] Choice for Players below level 25 or for those looking to complete the Story Quest quickly as the [Defeat Heroic Enemies] Choice takes a lot of time.

Once the Conversation finishes, the quest will update and tell you to go to the Hangar. Keep walking away from 3V-1L until you recieve a Holocall from Imperial Intelligence.

It does not matter which Convesation Choices you make on the Holocall as it does not change the Quest. Choose whatever options you want.

Once you have finished the Holocall Cutscene, go to the Wall/Grathans Estate on Dromund Kaas and follow the road South, into the Heroic jungles.

Once you enter the Jungle, you need to kill 5 Creatures with either a Gold or Silver icon next to their name.

Once you have killed 5 Creatures, you will be told to go to Balmorra and kill 5 Colicoids.

Once you arrive at Balmorra, travel to Bugtown to the North and enter the Research Facility. Only Colicoids killed inside the Facility will count for the Quest.

Once you arrive you will need to defeat 5 Colicoids with a Gold icon next to their name.

Once you have killed 5 enemies, you will be told to go to Nar Shaddaa and kill 5 Gang Members.

Once you arrive at Nar Shaddaa, travel to the Upper Industrial Sector and locate the Top Elevator to the West of the Map.

Enter the Exchange Gang Shipyard and defeat 5 Exchange or Ganelon enemies with a Gold or Silver icon next to their name.

Once you have killed 5 Exchange or Ganelon, go back to 3V-1L on the Fleet to turn in the Story Quest!

Congratulations, you have completed the Dark Tidings Story Quest and the Power Through Strength Path as an Imperial Character!
