The Meirm Cicada is the first Mount in Star Wars the Old Republic to allow your Companion and Pets to ride with you.

Meirm Cicada Mount

The Meirm Cicada Mount is a subscriber reward in Star Wars the Old Republic granted to all subscribed accounts between the 29th of November 2024 and the 4th of January 2025 after 7.6 releases in December 2024.
The Meirm Cicada Mount is Bind on Pickup and unlocked in Collections for 10 Cartel Coins, Meirm Cicada cannot be traded, mailed or Sold on the GTN.

The Meirm Cicada Mount is inspired by the Speeder Bike and Sidecar seen in Star Wars Skeleton Crew tv series on Disney+.

Pressing the Mount Flourish Key (default: Control + Z) honks the horn.

Companion Mounting

To make a Companion or Pet ride with you on the Meirm Cicada Mount, make sure you have no companion summoned when activating the mount. You can then open your Companion and Contacts Window (default: N) and click the summon button to put a Companion on the Mount.

This works if you want to summon any companion of your choice onto the mount.
If you have a specific companion that you want to ride with you, summon the mount and your current companion should appear instantly, if they do not, click the Companion icon on your screen and they will hop in and out of the mount on their own.

If the companion you are currently using is not Mount Compatible, you must despawn your Companion and spawn another from the Companions Window (N) that can be used.

Allowed Companions

These companions can be used on the Meirm Cicada Mount:

Human/Human Aliens:
All humanoid companions from all class stories and expansions (Corso Riggs, Lana Beniko, Senya, Gault etc).

Aliens:
Khem Val (Vanilla story only), Ak’ghal Usar, Bowdarr, Broonmark, Guss Tuno, Qyzen Fess, Skadge, Xalek, Yuun, Jakarro, Gamorrean Guard.
Star Fortresses:
Deadeye Leyta, K’krohl, Veeroa Denz.

Rewards / Season Companions:
Darth Hexid, Fen Zeil, Master Ranos, Nico Okarr, PH4-LNX, Amity, Paxton Rall, Shae Vizla.
Droids and Cartel Market:
Human-shaped style droids (HK-51, HK-55, Z00M, Scorpio etc).
D-R3D, K1-Z3N, QO-77, P3-KP, C8-S3C.

Blocked Companions

These companions can not be used on the Meirm Cicada Mount:

Aliens:
Khem Val (KOTET Version), Treek, Blizz, Phrojo Nuray, Quick Vrik.
Star Fortresses:
Choza Rabaat, Hemdil Tre, Rokuss.

Rewards / Season Companions:
Altuur Zok Adon.
Droids and Cartel Market:
Bessi, T7-01, C2-N2, 2V-R8, M1-4X, H2-WF.
A7 Surveillance Drone, Annihilator T4-1D, Akk Dog, Banshee, Bogstalker, Exoboar, Ginx, H1-K1, Krakjya, Nathema Voreclaw, K’lor’slug Soldier, Personal Warbot, Mawvorr, ISO-5R, Prove Droid, Nexu, Nathema Beast, I-08, TY-4N, Tuk’ata, Wampa, Vine Cat.

Pets

All ground/walking pets work on the Meirm Cicada Mount, including the Carbonite Frozen Monkey Lizard.

Hovering droids, Flying creatures, Jawa Balloons and Swoop Event holosign pets do not work on the Meirm Cicada.
