New Cartel Market Window

The Cartel Market Window in SWTOR has been given a brand new bar across the top with a much larger Collections button as well as 3 new buttons with the labels “Inspired by” on them, assumingly for Outfits based on the High Republic, Ahsoka and the Mandalorian.

Hutta Skybox Change

The biggest change to Hutta coming in 7.5 is the Sky, the old Skybox on Hutta featured a heavy Orange/Yellow tint encompassing the planet and a Sky with a bright yellow cloudy Sky. In the new Skybox the Sky has been replaced with a thick fog and a much more prominent Sun and Rainbow.

The new Sky is much closer to Nal Hutta as shown in the Clone Wars and other mainline Star Wars media.

New Jiguuna Graphics

Jiguuna Spaceport

Jiguuna City has also been overhauled, the new Foggy atmosphere as well as updated mud and dirt floor textures appear to give a more grounded feel to the crime laden city.

The spaceport has the most noticible Texture changes, both the dirt road leading to the spaceport as well as the entrance to the Spaceport itself has had some slight texture adjustments, as well as new trees.

Cantina Graphics

The Cantina itself remains unchanged however the atmosphere due to the new 7.5 Sky changes have added a whole new layer of depth, as the lights from the Cantina now ring brighter through the Fog instead of being washed out by the old Orange filter that covered Hutta.

New Hutta Swamps

Swamp Graphics

In the Swamps of Hutta we can see the new Trees a lot clearer as well as the city dissappearing into the Fog in the background. The old thick trees have been replaced by new thin trees draped in vines. The swamp water itself has changed from a dark yellow brown to a toxic grey-green-blue.
Some droids with lights now glow in the fog such as the Spider Droid seen below.

The plantlife on Hutta has also seen an increase in detail on both the models of trees as well as the upclose textures. The dark wood has been replaced with high detail, moss covered bark.

Road Graphics

The pipe on the left side of the bridgeas well as the ramp leading onto the bridge also appears to have had its texture contrast increased.

Karaggas Palace Operation

The Karaggas Palace Operation which takes place on Hutta has also recieved a graphics update with foggy skies, softer shadows and removal of the distinct yellow filter.
Some noticible texture updates include the struts on the right-side wall, trees and lights have been added to the tent poles that did not previously exist.

New Area Minboosa District

The Minboosa District is a new Cross-Faction location on Hutta that will release in update 7.5 Desperate Defiance and introduce us to new Characters on a Story quest. The Minboosa district will be taking full advantage of these new Hutt art modernisation improvements as well as introducing 3 new characters: Adi Vonapa, Rakit and Yusinduu the Hutt, alongside our troubled Jedi Padawan, Sa’har Kateen.

7.5C Hutta Update

Background Mountains

On game Update 7.5c, Hutta recieved another new graphics update, restoring the missing mountains and skyline from Hutta in 2011.

The large Ocean to the north of Hutta now has the proper islands and mountains blended into the distance, which were removed in 7.5.

Yellow Filter Returns

Another controversial change in 7.5 was the removal of Hutta’s ‘yellow’ overlay in exchange for toxic brown fog.

In 7.5c, the Yellow Fog, or ‘Pee Filter’ as it was fan-dubbed returned to Hutta although the fog remains. The comparison below shows 7.5 and 7.5c differences to the yellow filter.

New Reputation Window

On game Update 7.5b, the Legacy Window in SWTOR was updated. The Reputation tab now has even spacing with skill tree lines denoting each level in the Reputation track.

The Reputation Window has been spaced wider to make a lot more use of the Legacy Window, including a larger text box for more descriptive text and clear skill tree lines going from bottom to top. Unfortunately it looks like the blue fade behind the Reputation tiers is glitched and stops about 2/3rds of the way down.
