Blueprint Fragment Achievement
The aim of Collecting or Farming Blueprint Fragments is to unlock the Rare and Time-Limited Achievement: Fragments Found. This achievement can only be earned before Galactic Season 6 ends and Blueprint Fragments are removed.
To earn the Achievement: Fragments Found, You must Gather or Loot a total of 1500 Fragments across all of your characters on one Server. As Galactic Season 6 runs for nearly 150 days, you need to earn 10 Blueprint Fragments or more per day to unlock the Achievement by the final day of the Season.
Jawa Intel Boost
You can boost your Blueprint Fragment drop chances from enemies and mobs by running the Jawa Intel boost or the Brrazz’s Gift: Blueprint Fragments Intel boost. When you are under the effect of Brrazz’s Gift or Jawa Intel, your chances to loot Blueprint Fragments are doubled for 60 minutes before the Buff expires.
You can boost your Blueprint Fragment drop chances from enemies and mobs by running the Jawa Intel boost or the Brrazz’s Gift: Blueprint Fragments Intel boost. Both Buffs do the same thing and you can only have one active at a time.
Brrazz Gift’s are rewards from Galactic Season 6’s free to play rewards track and come in stacks of two. There are a total of 4 Brrazz Gift rewards giving you a 8 Hours of Buff time.
Available at levels: 3, 19, 43 and 58.
Brrazz Location
You can but additional Jawa Intel boosts from Brrazz on the Cartel Bazaar on your factions Fleet.
You can find Brrazz hidden behind crates in the upper middle section of the Cartel Bazaar, behind the Jawa Scrap vendors.
You must go through Brrazz’s cutscene in order to buy Jaw Intel, make sure you choose the [Turn in Jawa Junk] option, Each Jaw Intel buff item costs 500 Purple Jawa Junk.
Free Blueprints
You can earn a total of 130 Free Blueprint Fragments as a Subscriber during Galactic Seasons 6. They are rewarded in stacks of 10 at the following levels in the Galactic Season 6 Rewards Track:
Level 2, 7, 12, 22, 27, 32, 37, 52, 57, 62, 72, 77, 82.
How to Farm Blueprints
Your goal is to collect 1500 Blueprint Fragments in SWTOR before Galactic Season 6 ends if you wish to unlock the Achievement.
There are many different ways to farm Blueprint Fragments in SWTOR. All instanced PvE areas in SWTOR only give a Blueprint Fragment drop on the Final Boss, including Flashpoints, Uprisings and Operations.
By Reddit user u/Urthal: On average if you complete the Daily Objective (1 Fragment), 5 Easy Objectives (3 Fragments) and 2 Hard Objectives (8 Fragments) per week, you will be rewarded 48 Blueprint Fragments a Week.
You get 130 from the subscriber reward track, so you need 1370 from other sources, that is 68,5 per week, or 20.5 per week from drops. Two weeks in I’m at 114/15000. 95 of those have been from objectives (missing tomorrow’s daily), so I’ve gotten 19 blueprints as drops, or 9.5 per week, half of what I should be getting if I want to finish the achievement in 20 weeks. To finish the achievement in 15 weeks like it was before, I should be getting 43.3 fragments from non objectives.
Best Farming Methods
The Best farming method is to play the Dread Fortress Operation (Raid) in 8-man Story difficulty several times a week, which requires both a Level 80 character and an active Subscription.
Completing 7 Storymode Operations or killing 7 Final Bosses in Operations each week will put you ahead of track to complete the Blueprint Fragments achievement with several weeks spare before the Season ends, otherwise completing 4 Storymode Operation/Kills is enough to reach 1500 Blueprint Fragments by the time the Season ends.
As only the Last Boss gives Blueprint Fragment drops, it is better to hold Last Boss Lockouts for any Raid you are confident in completing rather then playing the same raids from the start over and over. The fastest raid to complete in SWTOR is Storymode Dread Fortress, which takes approximately 13-20 minutes depending on the speed of your Group.
If you are able to leave your own Group and log onto an Alt character to rejoin the Group and get the Final boss kill, you can then use your original character to form groups that only need to kill the final boss, which will significantly speed up your Blueprint Fragment farming process.
Solo Player Farming
Not all Storymode Flashpoints drop Blueprint Fragments either, so I suggest playing Uprisings in Story or Veteran mode as a level 80 player if you do not want to play Operations (Raids). Likewise, Lairbosses appear to be a waste of time, as does playing Operations in 16-Man difficulty as you only gain 1 extra Blueprint Fragment per Difficulty but require recruiting an addittional 8 people to play with you.
If you are a Free to Play player, or do not have any characters at level 80, your safest option to Farm Blueprint Fragments is killing Mobs in the Open World in large quantities on low level planets, as playing Veteran and Story flashpoints is a waste of time and you don’t have access to Master Flashpoints, Uprisings or Operations.
