How to Start

In order to start the Basilisk Companion Venture, you must Be an active Subscriber and have completed all 3 of Lane Vizla’s Missions on a level 80 character.
Lane Vizla’s missions are not tied to the Legacy of the Sith expansion story anymore, as long as you are level 80 and can travel to Ruhnuk you can complete all 3 of Lane Vizla’s missions.

Once you have completed all 3 of Lane Vizla’s missions, open your Legacy Window (default: Y) and click on the Venture tab to grant yourself the Basilisk Prototype Venture.

Achievements

There are 7 General Achievements related to unlocking Bessi and her Venture for a total of 150 points.
There are also 55 points worth of secret achievements.

Tutorial Achievements

There are 3 Achievements you will get when you first start the Basilisk Prototype Venture which starts the mandatory Burc’ya Vaal Burk’yc Quest.

When you play the Burc’ya Vaal Burk’yc mission, you will complete one of the following 3 Achievements.

Initial Combat Assessment: Complete 1 Combat Training Module with B3-S1
Initial Support Assessment: Complete 1 Support Training Module with B3-S1
Initial Defensive Assesslemt: Complete 1 Defensive Training Module with B3-S1

After you complete the quest, you will be have 2 more Training Modules left over that you can use on Bessi. Completing both Training Modules will unlock the other two achievements.

Story Achievements

There are 3 total Story Achievements related to Bessi in SWTOR. The first achievement will be automatically unlocked when you finish the introductory tutorial Mission for the Basilisk Prototype Venture.

How to Train B3-S1: Completed the Venture Mission ‘Burc’ya Vaal Burk’yc’.

Required Components: Completed the Venture Mission ‘Missing Parts’
This Venture Mission unlocks at Repair Level 7 of the Basilisk Venture, and indicates roughly over the half way point in completing the entire Venture.

Legacy Preserved: Completed the Venture Mission ‘Burc’ya Veman’
This Venture Mission unlocks at Repair Level 11 of the Basilisk Venture, and must be completed to obtain Bessi as a permanent companion.

Companion Reward

Completing the entire Venture unlocks the Fully Loaded achievement which gives you a single Basilisk Prototype Customization 1.

Customization Achievements

There are 5 special achievements related to purchasing 4 of Bessi’s special Companion Customizations in SWTOR.
To unlock access to the Companion Customization Vendor, you need to have completed all 11 Levels of the Basilisk Venture. Once you complete level 11 of the Venture you should recieve a Commlink call from The Curator asking you to meet them at Lane’s Lab on Ruhnuk.

Once you have answered the call, travel to Lane Vizla’s Lab on Ruhnuk and meet with the Curator’s Envoy. This will unlock the first achievement: Speculative Ventures!

Once you have found the Curator’s Envoy inside Lane’s Lab on Ruhnuk, there are 4 different Companion Customizations you can purchase, each one has it’s own achievement!

Achievements:
Solid Aurodium – Purchase the Project Funding: Aurodium Ablation and Reapplication item from the Envoy 4 times.
Costs 100 Prototype Data, 50 Defense Systems Data, 50 Support Systems Data, 50 Combat Systems Data and 3,750,000 Credits.
Reward: Auradium Plating Bessi Companion Customization.

Going Dark – Purchase the Project Funding: Non-Lethal Blaster item from the Envoy 4 times.
Costs 100 Prototype Data, 50 Combat Systems Data and 250,000 Credits.
Reward: MKII Combat Bessi Companion Customization.

High Polish – Purchase the Project Funding: Novel HoloNet Virtual Item Exchange item from the Envoy 4 times.
Costs 100 Prototype Data, 50 Defense Systems Data and 250,000 Credits.
Reward: MKII Defender Bessi Companion Customization.

If Looks Could Heal – Purchase the Project Funding: Personality Chip item from the Envoy 4 times.
Costs 100 Prototype Data, 50 Support Systems Data and 250,000 Credits.
Reward: MKII Support Bessi Companion Customization.

Secret Achievements

There are four Secret Achievements related to the Basilisk Prototype Venture. Once you unlock all 3 a special 4th achievement will also unlock. Each of them is related to taking Bessi to a very specific place on certain planets.

It’s a Big Galaxy Out There… : Took Bessi sightseeing across the galaxy in all 3 hidden locations.

Iziz the Place?

Travel to Onderon and go directly to the Oasis map section below the Hunting Lodge where Imperial Players spawn.

Once you reach the Oasis, make sure Bessi is summoned as your active companion and walk along the boardwalks along the cliff edge of the map until your screen fades to black.

Once your screen fades to black, stand still for 5 seconds and the Secret Achievement: Iziz the Place? should unlock automatically.

The Farm is Real

Travel to Dantooine (not the Blba Groves) and follow the cliff faces around the South-Eastern side of the map, near a farm with a large aircraft turret.

Once you reach the cliff faces, keep walking on the edge beetween where the Grass ends and the rocks of the Cliff face begins up and down the cliff edge until your screen fades to black.

Once your screen fades to black, stand still for 5 seconds and the The Farm is Real achievement should unlock automatically.

Big Machine, Little Creatures

Travel to Tatooine and go directly to the Jundland Wastes section until you reach Camp Karnori in the far North. Behind the Republic Base camp is a large rock you need to stand on.

Once you reach the rock behind Camp Karnori, make sure Bessi is summoned as your active companion and jump on the big rock behind the Republic Base.

Once your screen fades to black, stand still for 5 seconds and the Big Machine, Little Creatures achievement should unlock.

Wild Brunch

To begin the Wild Brunch secret achievement, you need to have completed all 11 Levels of the Bessi Venture as well as complete the Curator’s Holocall to meet his envoy on Ruhnuk.

Once you have unlocked the Curator Envoy’s Vendor after the Holocall. Go to Lane’s Lab on Ruhnuk and purchase several Akaba Spice Fizz. Right click the Fizz in your inventory to consume it.
You need to defeat 1000 enemies with B3-S1 as your Companion while under the effects of the Spice Fizz.
I suggest killing Mobs in the Colicoid Wargames Flashpoint with Bessi in Healspec. You can kill several hundred enemies on the Turret section while under the Fizz drink buff.

Once you have defeated 1000 enemies you will unlock the achievement Wild Brunch.
