[Legacy] Missing Parts Quest
The [Legacy] Missing Parts is the second story quest for the Basilisk Companion in Star Wars the Old Republic. It is available for level 80 subscriber players at level 7 of the Basilisk Prototype Venture system. This complete guide covers everything you need to know as a Republic or Imperial Player.
The quest takes roughly 15-20 minutes to complete.
Bessi will become an unavailable companion while you are playing the mission, do not use a Memory Chip or Summon Bessi before starting this quest.
Warning: The mission becomes immediately available on the character you are logged in as when you complete Level 6 of the Basilisk Prototype Venture. The mission can only be played once! Do not abandon the mission.
Speak to Lane Vizla
Once the quest appears in your mission log, travel to Ruhnuk and find Lane Vizla in her Lab. Make sure you have at least 6 free inventory spaces.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_lane.jpg?w=1024)
Once you arrive at Lane Vizla’s Lab on Ruhnuk, speak to her and she will brief you about Bessi being damaged and requiring vital repairs. Lane will tip you off to go looking on Belsavis for usable technology to help repair Bessi.
Agree to help Bessi and the quest will automatically begin, or you can keep talking to learn more lore before starting the quest anyway.
Travel to The Tomb on Belsavis
Open your Galaxy Map and travel to regular Belsavis, not Section X.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_belsavis.jpg?w=1024)
Once you arrive at Belsavis, make your way to the Tomb at the north-side of the Map. There is a faction neutral Rakatan Teleporter right near the quest marker, so it is faster to take a teleporter rather then a Taxi or Quicktravel from the nearest Republic or Imperial base.
However Imperial Players can also Quicktravel to the Imperial Remote Outpost due to its close proximity.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_belsavis2.jpg?w=827)
Make your way and stand exactly ontop of the Quest marker.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_belsavis3.jpg?w=1024)
The Missing Parts quest will update and tell you to now locate 7 droid parts. There are 2 locations where specific droid parts can be found:
Imperial players have a Quicktravel point closest to the Sensor Core part near the Signal Monitoring Center.
Republic players have a Quicktravel and Taxi point closest to the Plasma Stabilizer part near the Oasis Republic Post.
Primeval Droid Parts Location
You must find 7 Droid Parts in order to complete this portion of the Quest.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_droidparts1.jpg?w=827)
You must kill droids in these 2 dungeons and loot the following:
0/1 Combat Droid Plasma Stabilizer
0/1 Watcher Droid Sensor Core
0/5 Primeval Droid Parts
You can find 5 Droid Parts by killing any Primeval droids around the Plasma Stabilizer and Sensor Core locations.
Combat Droid Plasma Stabilizer Location
The Combat Droid Plasma Stabilizer can be found at the North-Most point of the Tomb on Belsavis, in a dungeon behind the Belsavis Worldboss spawn lake.
Killing regular Primeval Droids in this dungeon drop the 5 Primeval Droid Parts you need to also complete the Quest.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_droidparts3.jpg?w=1024)
Defeat and loot a Primeval Combat Droid, they are the 3 legged Droideka looking battle droids in the area. They are very easy to kill but take a little time.
Watcher Droid Sensor Core Location
The Watcher Droid Sensor Core can be in a dungeon on the Eastern facing ice wall of the Signal Monitoring Center.
Killing regular Primeval Droids in this dungeon drop the 5 Primeval Droid Parts you need to also complete the Quest.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_droidparts2.jpg?w=1024)
Defeat and loot a Primeval Watcher Droid, they look like a Probe Droid. They are very easy but are usually found in groups with other droids.
Once you have looted both special parts and 5 primeval droid parts, the quest will tell you to travel to a hidden location at the Tomb on Belsavis and lay a trap.
Place Droid Parts as Bait
Travel to the stone covered Lava bridge that separates the northern Worldboss section of the Tomb with the large lower half. You need to stand in a specific place on the lava bridge.
Make sure you have a companion summoned (preferably on Heal mode) as there will be combat.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_hk241.jpg?w=827)
Once you reach the middle of the rock covered Lava bridge, look for the small green arrow pointing down at the ground near a large spikey rock.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_hk242.jpg?w=1024)
Stand very close to the green arrow and move your cursour around it on the ground, right click when your cursor turns into a Hand icon to place the droid parts as Bait.
Defeat HK-24
A HK-24 Assassin Droid will appear and attack you, you must defeat it so be ready for a fight.
Do not use stealth or knock the HK-24 droid into the Lava during the fight as it will cause the HK-24 droid to despawn, which means you will have to Reset the quest and start over again.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_hk243.jpg?w=1024)
Be very careful while you fight HK-24, as the droid will try to throw you backwards into the Lava and kill you. The fight is quite easy but can take a bit of time as HK-24 has low damage but a lot of HP.
Once you have defeated the HK-24 Assassin Droid, loot him to take his HK-24 Navigational Datacore.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_hk244.jpg?w=389)
Once you have looted HK-24 and taken his Datacore, click the icon on your Mission Tracker or open your Inventory to the Mission Items tab and right click on the HK-24 Navigational Datacore icon to read HK-24’s data.
HK-24 Droid’s Cache Location
Once you have read HK-24’s Datacore, you will be tasked with searching 3 areas to find the right HK-24 Droid’s Cache. There is only one location with the correct Droid Cache.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_cache1.jpg?w=827)
Travel to the Cache location at the South-most Map Marker, you can find 3 Droid Caches ontop of a large Bridge made out of a tree root.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_cache2.jpg?w=1024)
Clicking this specific Cache pictured above should have a 100% chance of giving you the Droid Cache item you need. Once you have looted the Droid Cache, return to Lane’s Lab on Ruhnuk.
Return to Lane Vizla
Once you have arrived at Lane’s Lab on Ruhnuk, talk to Lane Vizla.
Note: Make sure you have at least 6 free Inventory Spaces before talking to Lane Vizla!
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_lane.jpg?w=1024)
There are several different dialogue choices you can pick from, as well as the brief chance to Flirt with Lane Vizla twice.
![swtor missing parts quest](https://todayintor.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/missingparts_lane_return.jpg?w=1024)
Congratulations, once you have finished talking to Lane Vizla the [Legacy] Missing Parts quest will complete and automatically increase the Basilisk Prototype Venture to level 8!
You will be rewarded with 6 new Basilisk Prototype Training Modules in your inventory.
