During the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally event in SWTOR, you may notice these mysterious red cloaked characters hanging around various locations within the game.
Dressed in similar garb to the character Silvanie Phest, a member of the Disciples of the Whills – a religious group found on Jeddha during the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. These characters in SWTOR however are named “Force Pilgrims” and you are able to purchase their robes from the Cartel Market.
During the event you can find the Force Pilgrims on both the Republic and Imperial Fleet, watching a Galactic News broadcast highlighting the Swoop Rally on Dantooine. You can also find them present in the crowd at the Swoop Rally marketplaces on Dantooine, Tatooine and Onderon.
One of each pair of Force Pilgrims is always seen carrying a Rishi-staff and they have been seen to wear both all red and gold robes or red and brown robes with long sleeves and split skirts. What their purpose is at the Swoop Rally and where they come from is unknown, however it is a clear easter egg to the Pilgrims featured in Rogue One that sported a diverse variety of Force Religions inspired by Islam and Middle-Eastern culture represented in the film.
