Yep! Since the game came out in 2011, you have been able to click the icon from your Crew Skills window (default B) and drag it onto any hotbar.
Clicking it on the hotbar will open the relevant skills Crafting or Companion Mission window directly allowing you to quickly set up crafting or missions on the go instead of having to stop and open the crew skill window then opening the crafting window separately.
From here you can click which companion you want in the drop down window at the bottom and set them off! No need to click each companion down the list of the other Crew Skills window as they are also all sorted from highest to lowest influence levels for you.
